2024 Putnam County Fair Parade

NEWS FLASH: The Parade will have an alternative route on Seminary and Locust Streets this year due to the 231 INDOT Project within the City Of Greencastle.

Entries will start at the intersection of Wood Street and Seminary Street travelling west to Locust Street; the route will proceed south on Locust to the intersection of Locust and Hanna Streets. The point of Locust and Hanna Street will be the conclusion of the parade. Entries will exit the parade via Hanna Street.

We encourage people to register their entries and our spectators make plans to join us for another fun event. More information will be forthcoming in the weeks ahead. We are grateful for the support of the City of Greencastle, DePauw University and INDOT.

***With the route moving to Seminary and Locust Streets, entries will have a height restriction of 14 feet. Please make time to review the route ahead of time to ensure your vehicle has no issues. 

Mark your calendar: We will host a Q & A session the evening of July 10 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds Community Building to address questions about the route and how you will exit.  Stay tuned for more info!
